We are delighted that we get to work with many of the world's top organizations, helping them to enhance their innovation efforts, improve their customers' lives, and drive profitable growth. Here is a representative sample of our recent engagements:

Project A (Opportunity Discovery)
A Fortune 100 agricultural technology firm engaged Inovo to explore several new whitespace domains, in order to identify future growth platforms. Inovo applied its full ADOPTS process and developed three new business opportunities – including identifying an attractive technology partner from whom the client subsequently acquired intellectual property rights.

Project B (Market Assessment)
A Fortune 500 optics manufacturer engaged Inovo to help it decide whether to proceed with a multi-million dollar investment in green laser technology. Inovo applied its ethnographic techniques to develop deep market insights, leading the client to proceed with commercializing the technology. Our client's miniature lasers have helped enable an entirely new category of device: pocket-sized image projectors.

Project C (Ethnographic Exploration)
A Fortune 100 medical device manufacturer hired Inovo to train its top 20 scientists in ethnographic research techniques, and to lead them on a three-continent exploration of emerging medical practices. The participants uncovered hundreds of insights that will inform the company's strategic planning in coming months and years – and the scientists are eager to use their newfound ethnographic skills to explore additional domains in the future.

Project D (Consumer Insight Discovery)
A Global 100 automotive OEM engaged Inovo to understand how drivers form their perceptions of automotive safety and how these perceptions influence their propensity to buy. Inovo applied its Mind of the Community method and identified six distinct motivation-based customer segments that the client used to focus its product, service, and promotional concepts.

Project E (Opportunity Evaluation)
A Fortune 100 retailer engaged Inovo to evaluate and prioritize a portfolio of 50 new retail opportunities that had been developed internally. Inovo evaluated the opportunities and applied its Mind of the Organization method to achieve internal consensus regarding the top priorities. The results led the retailer to expand its merchandising & promotional strategy for the all-important 2009 holiday season.

Project F (Innovation Capability)
A Global 100 chemical company hired Inovo to help it build an innovation capability in support of its strategic move away from commodity chemicals and into specialty, high-value products. During the past five years, Inovo has worked with the client's Ventures & Business Development group to train their innovators and embed Inovo's ADOPTS system within the company.
